What inspired you to choose wealth management as a career?
I chose wealth management because I wanted to have a career that would enable me to positively impact the lives of the people I interacted with. Combined with my interest in personal finance, wealth management seemed like a natural fit. The possibility to build relationships with clients and help them to plan for and accomplish their goals in life is something I really look forward to doing.
Why did you choose to be part of the BDF team?
The number one factor for why I chose to work for BDF was having similar goals with those of the company. I wanted to work for a company that provided superior service to their clients in a conflict-free way. BDF does that in an industry where not many others do.
What skills or characteristics make you uniquely qualified for this work?
One of the reasons I chose to pursue a career in finance was because I am naturally a very detail-oriented and analytical person. That allows me to enjoy the intellectually stimulating parts of what we do while also being able to remain focused during the more tedious – but equally important – parts. I also really enjoy getting to know people on a personal level – understanding what their goals are in life, what motivates them, and what ultimately leads to them living a fulfilled life.
Where can we find you when you’re not working?
When I’m not working, I try to stay active. For me, that usually means playing basketball, soccer, or tennis. I also enjoy watching sports as well as movies, reading, spending time with friends and family, and being involved in church.
What defines your own personal “full life”?
As a follower of Jesus Christ, my personal “full life” is defined by my relationship with God. My faith guides and influences every aspect of my life and decision-making process. If I am glorifying God by loving Him and loving others through service, then I am living a “full life”.
